Boris is a big handsome boy who turned up as a stray several months ago and was taken in. His finders had him vet checked (and proved sadly to be FIV +ve), desexed and microchipped.  They would love to have kept him except for their existing cat who wasn't so keen.  Boris has had a lot of change in a short period of time so may take a bit of time to settle into a new environment.  He is a gentle cat who loves to have his head rubbed.Sadly Boris was returned to us after a short stint in a foster home - as it appears he needs a bigger space to rattle around in! the ideal foster home will be a large one , or one on two or more levels...he loves to play!!

His FIV positive status means that his immune system does not work as it should, and he is more vulnerable to other illnesses.  It also means that Boris must be an indoor only cat, ideally in a home with lots of space and no other FIV -ve cats. Because of his FIV status, Boris is eligible for our permanent foster programme. This means that we will cover all medical costs relating to his illness for the rest of his life. Learn more about our foster programme here.
