BoyBoy is a handsome, loving boy. He was found as a very ill stray and nursed back to health by a kind woman who was in Wellington on holiday. Once she returned home BoyBoy came to us and he has quickly become a favourite with our visitors and volunteers. He is incredibly affectionate and loves to be around people. BoyBoy adores having his neck and shoulders massaged by one of our teamleads (they really are spoilt here) and he has been taught how to high five for treats. He is highly intelligent and inquistive and would enjoy learning new games with his chosen person. BoyBoy can be a bit of a bully with the other cats so he will be happiest in a home where he is the centre of attention.
BoyBoy has been diagnosed as FIV positive. This means that his immune system does not work as it should, and he is more vulnerable to other illnesses and dental disease. It also means that BoyBoy must be kept as an indoor only cat. Because he was a stray we are unsure what he is like with dogs.
Due to BoyBoy's FIV positive status he will be part of our Care for Life foster programme. This means that we will cover all medical costs relating to his illness for the rest of his life.
You can also become a sponser to help with BoyBoy's, and all our other furry friends, ongoing care.
