BoyBoy is a handsome, loving boy. He was found as a very ill stray and nursed back to health by a kind woman who was in Wellington on holiday. Once she returned home BoyBoy came to us and he has quickly become a favourite with our visitors and volunteers. He is incredibly affectionate and loves to be around people. BoyBoy craves human companionship and has good eye contact, staring lovingly as he follows you everywhere you go.
BoyBoy has been diagnosed as FIV positive. This means that his immune system does not work as it should, and he is more vulnerable to other illnesses. It also means that BoyBoy must be an indoor only cat, ideally in a home with lots of space and no other FIV -ve cats. Because he was a stray we are unsure what he is like with children or dogs.
Due to BoyBoy's FIV positive status he will be part of our Care for Life foster programme. This means that we will cover all medical costs relating to his illness for the rest of his life.
