Fleur has quite the back story. She very badly broke her front leg and unfortuantely her family couldn't afford her treatment. The options were to amputate her leg or attempt to repair the elbow, which is difficult and very costly. We teamed up with the clinic and the surgery went ahead to give this little darling a fancy new elbow. Thanks to the skilled vet team the surgery was a success! After months stuck on cage rest letting her leg heal she is finally able to be a young, playful cat again.
Fleur is such a lovely girl, she prefers to do the petting by rubbing herself all over your hands rather than being patted. She walks with a slight limp but she is very agile and playful, although her limp can become worse if she plays too much. Because of the pins in her leg she will likey have some mobility issues her whole life.
Fleur will be best suited to an indoor only home, with adults or older children that are able to monitor her movement and let her relax when she needs to.
