Kingston Shelter

Patch is a sweet, gentle soul. He came to the shelter because his owner was moving to a retirement village and couldn't take him.

Patch has been a long 'work in progress' at the shelter, he needs time to develop a trusting bond with people. Thankfully our team of dedicated cat lovers have worked their magic on him and helped him to be more relaxed and happy. On top of all our effort he has also made friends with our other shy girl, CC, which has really helped him become more social. He now happily potters around in the room he and CC share, comes out for food and even rolls over for belly rubs with his chosen friends, we are so proud of his progress. Patch would ideally be in a home that is experienced with timid cats, with someone patient and quiet. The almighty purr you get from this big boy once he accepts you is well worth the effort!

Due to Patch's age he is part of our Care for Life foster programme

You can also become a sponser to help with Patch's, and all our other furry friends, ongoing care.
