Percy has come to us because her family were moving back to Australia and didn't want to take her. She had been kept as an outside only cat, living in a dog kennel in the garden. Percy has taken some time to settle at the shelter, all the cats and noise make her nervous as she has been used to having lots of space. Although she has likely gotten quite used to her outdoor lifestyle it would be nice for her to have a home where she is allowed to be inside, and to be able to come and go as she pleases.
Percy has lots of quirky character traits that we have got to know in the time she's been with us, and we find them all very endearing. Percy loves playtime, but in her own special way, and she goes completely bonkers for catnip which is always good for a laugh. She can be quite 'hand-shy' at first but if you approach her in the right way she loves to be patted. We would be very happy to do an introduction to Percy and her quirks if you are interested.
Percy will be happiest in a quiet home with indoor/outdoor access.
