Zoe does not like babies! She has come to us because her owner was pregnant for the third time and didn't want to put Zoe through the stress of having a baby in the house again. The first two times she became aggressive towards the baby, but once they are walking she apparently calms down.
Zoe took some time to settle in at the shelter but with lots of calm persistance we have worked wonders. We have discovered that she is in fact a lap cat (sturdy lap required) and likes to be patted and brushed. Despite her chunky frame she is actually a very active and agile girl, and can be found scaling the cages and wandering around on the high shelves out on the deck. She likes to entertain herself with erratic zooms and silly playtime on her own. Honestly, Zoe is such a character you could spend hours just watching her. Unfortunately Zoe is extremely overweight so she needs to be on a strict weight management diet.
Zoe will be happiest as an only pet in a sunny home without children and some outdoor access.
