COVID-19 UPDATE: CPW closed for adoptions

The CPW shelter is now closed to visitors, so we will not be adopting or fostering out any of our current cats until the Covid-19 lockdown is over.

However, animal welfare is an essential service, so we will have staff and a small team of volunteers to continue caring for our cats. We will also take in cats in emergency cases for as long as we can safely do that.
In the meantime, we will continue to share stories on the CPW Facebook page about the 17 cats currently in the shelter, and we welcome pictures and stories about our ex-cats who now have homes of their own.
Our spokescat Godfrey (pictured) hopes that all our friends take sensible steps to stay calm, safe and healthy, and be kind to one other.
Kia kaha.
