Issy has come to the shelter because her caregiver was moving overseas. She was born here at CPW back in 2013!

Issy is a nervous girl who needs a gentle approach. She has always been shy with new people and takes time to build up a connection. Issy loves being outdoors and chooses to spend most of her time outside, coming in at night time or when it gets too chilly. She loves being tucked into bed, wrapped in a blanket. 

Although she is reasonably independent she still needs company and doesn't do well if left alone for long periods, she isn't suited to someone that travels frequently as having different people in her space unsettles her. 

Issy is best suited to a quiet, stable, home with 1-2 adults and no other pets. She must have safe outdoor access. Issy has Hyperthyroidism and is on daily medication to manage this.

Issy will be happiest in a quiet home with a big garden for her to explore. She must be the only pet. Due to Issy's medical needs she is part of our Care for Life foster programme.
