Professor Patches -- Distinguished Gentleman
10+ years
17 years | Male | Senior Foster | Talkative | Affectionate
Professor Patches was surrendered to us after his elderly owner had to move to a care facility. His sister was also coming to the shelter, but sadly when she went to the vet for her annual vaccination prior to being surrendered, they discovered she was in serious kidney failure and was humanely put to rest.
Professor Patches, aka Patches, is a vocal, affectionate and confident dude. He is in great shape and health, all but a cyst on his neck, and is a Senior Foster through our 'Care for Life' program. Although he lived with a cat in the past, he would be best suited to a home with no other pets so he can soak up all of the attention he craves over his last few years.
Patches is a big fan of the outdoors and indoors, but must be homed to an area that is safe and quiet due to his overly friendly nature and desire to explore. Patches has no experience with dogs or children, and we are unsure if he hunts.
Professor Patches is a Senior Foster.
