Georgie Boy --- Irresistibly Cute!

Georgie Boy has come back to the shelter to find his forever (indoor) home. Georgie was a skinny stray that was rescued out in Porirua and after a health check discovered he was FIV positive and has a grade 3 heart murmur. His rescuer couldn't keep him as she has 7 other cats to care for so he came to us. He was fostered in April of 2024 but after nearly 6 months, his foster was not able to manage his energy levels and desire to go outside and meet other cats.
Georgie Boy is extremely loveable and irresistibly cute! Georgie is an affectionate cat with both humans and other cats, who needs constant company and stimulation. He enjoys playing with toys, chirping sweet melody's and snuggling on your lap. Georgie needs to be an indoor only cat with lots of space to run and play, even better if there is a catio. He enjoys the company of other cats but has never met a dog or kids before.
Georgie is best suited to someone who works from home/works part time or is retired so he has company, ideally he would have a cat friend to go home with/to. Georgie needs a safe and very secure home, as he is a bit of an escape artist.
