Max Powers -- Man on a mission

Max Powers has returned to the shelter to find his forever home. Max was happily in foster for 6 months but sadly his foster family had to move away and he was brought back to us. He was originally surrendered to us as he kept returning to his family's previous home which was a dangerous journey for an old guy.

Max is a happy and friendly fellow. He is very laid back and in his old age enjoys snoozing majority of the day away but does like to have a wander around outside for some fresh air. Max is on daily meds for anxiety and high blood pressure.

Max will not be homed near Kaiwharawhara as he is likely to roam back to his old owners previous property. Max is tolerable of most cats, but has no experience with dogs. He will need a safe and contained garden to stroll around and sunbathe in as he doesn't like being contained inside. He is not a hunter.

Due to Max's age he is part of our Care for Life foster program.
