Charles -- Just wants some love

Charles is a gorgeous older gentleman who looks much younger than his years. He became unsettled after his family moved house recently. He was stressed by neighbourhood cats and started sleeping all day and wanting attention overnight, affecting the sleep of his family.

Although we suggested talking with their vet about medications that might help, the owners instead chose to have Charles put to sleep. Fortunately the clinic declined to do this and Charles was surrendered to them instead.

Because of how Charles came to be with us we have almost no information about his likes and dislikes. We have found that he is a curious, loving boy who is always keen for a cuddle and a scratch under the chin. He's a gentle giant with a lot of love to give. 

We will be looking for a quiet stable home where he can have the attention he deserves as an only pet.

Charles is eligible for our Care for Life programme as a senior foster.
